My approach

An ‘Integrative counsellor’ means that I tailor my use of therapeutic approaches depending on your needs, preferences, and learning style. My core approaches are Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Transactional Analysis. I offer one-to-one therapy for adults - in person (Bristol) and online (UK-wide).

I work with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, life stage transitions, relationship challenges, parenting, and questions around sexuality and identity.

I recognise that the impact of any of these issues can vary. My work is rooted in compassion, connection and curiosity.

Your outer line is the result of your story so far. It does not dictate your potential or what happens next. Therapy is a space to explore who you are - outside of expectations and beyond the labels.

Sometimes we’ll see things differently …I hope so.

  • It gives us space to bring our differing perspectives into the room - to speak honestly and to listen openly. Avoiding conflict may bring short-term relief, but over time, it often leads to inner distancing or even what some call ‘quiet quitting’ in relationships.

To put it frankly, we cannot set meaningful boundaries if we’re afraid to get close to conflict. Therapy provides a safe space to explore and gently dismantle our psychological defences - those protective walls that once kept us safe but may now feel more like limitations.

In the therapy room, I don’t believe one person holds all the answers while the other has none. Instead, I see the process as a collaborative exploration - one where your voice, experience, and insight matter deeply

  • That’s a scary word for a lot of us. Childhood experiences and world events have taught us that conflict is destructive, dangerous and fuels division. It’s no surprise that so many people describe themselves as conflict avoidant.

But what if I told you that Being able to share and explore differing perspectives, even when they don’t align, can actually deepen trust and strengthen relationships?
